I wasn't really all that surprised to see a gain this week. I had just come off the Lovely Detox, Plus we had a snack day for someone's birthday on Thursday, a chili cook off of Friday, and the Super Bowl on Sunday. I tried to make smart decisions, but obviously I did not. And although I didn't expect to gain THIS much back, I am still pleased with my progress. I have been walking the stairs at work: I go up and down the six flights of stairs twice in the morning and twice again in the afternoon. I've been drinking more water. I have greatly reduced my soda/coffee/alcohol consumption, and I will stop completely at Lent. So, baby steps.
Goals for next week:
Drink 100 ounces of water a day.
Walk the stairs at work every day.
Look in the mirror and say aloud, "Dang! I look GOOD!"
