{1} How was your Valentine's Day?
It was good! I got a raise! My second one in two months! I’m on fire! And then after work, The Agent brought home pizza and then he took Bug to ballet while I stayed home and watched BBT.
{2} What is your favorite flower? Did your honey get them for you?
My favorite flowers are tulips. The Agent did not get them for me… in fact, he sent me an email the day before, warning me not to expect flowers. Punk. Not that I expected flowers-- I get flowers once a year, on my anniversary. But it’s wonderful that he had to rub it in.
{3} Was Valentine's Day a big deal when you were a kid?
Umm… it was a bigger deal then than it is now! But I’ve never considered it a major holiday. I like some sort of recognition, but I don’t believe in going to dinner or the movies or getting flowers or anything like that. I don’t like crowds, and it’s crazy to me to spend 3 times the amount on flowers.
{4} Did you put up any Valentine's Day decorations? (bonus points for a picture)
I did not. I have a few decorations, but they are packed away, and I didn’t want to dig them out. I hope to be in the new house by Easter, so I’ll decorate more then!
{5} Do you have any Valentine's Day traditions?
Umm… no. Bug handed out valentines at school, and even that was a flop. I bought a pack of 20 valentines, and she needed 21. One poor kid had to get a homemade Valentine. Awesome.

awesome vday present to get a raise! and we are lowkey on vday too. it's that married with kids thing.
yay for getting a raise! That def makes it a good day! I've never gotten into the whole v-day thing because 1.) EVERYONE goes out...I don't want to wait hours to eat dinner! and 2.) i'd rather my husband be spontaneous and bring me flowers randomly instead of feeling like he has to because it's a "holiday"...way more romantic!
why does that always happen? there are never enough Valentines in the package. i always ended up having to buy 2 packs for J because i needed 2 or 3 more. lame.
