Lindzi gets the first hometown date in… I missed it. Some place that requires spurs. Dude, enough with the horses! We get it, you’re in to equine. Don’t be the crazy horse lady.
Lindzi shows Ben how to hitch up a horse and ride around in a buggy. Then they have a picnic next to a pile of horse poop.
I am not a horse person.
Ben looks kinda gross. He’s not hot. And he makes very poor choices in love.
It’s weird to me that Lindzi didn’t know where her parents got married. Even Bug knows where I got married.
Her family has a large amount of money. Like a crazy obscene amount. I’d marry her.
Ben goes to Tennessee next to meet Kacie’s family. She’s so sweet and cute, but I don’t see any passion.
Kacie warns Ben that her father doesn’t drink. Awesome. She’s bringing home a man who makes it his business to get people drunk. And, as promised, Ben has an incredibly awkward conversation with Kacie’s dad. Her dad advises Ben that if he’s not going to choose Kacie in the end, he should just let her go now. Ben worries (correctly) that her parents don’t like him. You have to figure that Ben is looking for a father figure too, and he’s just not going to find it with Kacie’s family.
I think Kacie’s going home tonight.
Ben meets Nicki in Texas next. She’s cute, too-- but not as cute as Kacie. She takes Ben on a shopping spree and decks him out in cowboy threads. Kudos to Ben for not drinking his drink with a straw. Straws are for girls.
So far, I see the most chemistry with Nicki.
Nicki seems to have the most “normal” family. They don’t live in a mansion, they have problems like everyone else, they’re just… normal. Ben seems to hit it off with her family, and Nicki seals the deal by saying that she’s in love with Ben. She’s safe for another week.
And finally, Ben goes to Arizona to meet Courtney’s family. She is straight crazy. How can Ben be falling for that?
Courtney sounds almost normal in her interview. She says she regrets how she has acted with the other girls, and want to focus more with just Ben. Ben, for his part, admits that Courtney has always been the one who has caught his eye.
Courtney’s mom is apparently used to seeing through Courtney’s BS and says in her interview that she doubts that Ben and Courtney are in love. Amen, Mom! I doubt it too!
It’s freaking me out, how normal Courtney is acting.
Oh, OK. The crazy is coming out now. Courtney makes Ben write some vows, slaps a bow tie on him, and they get “married.” For some reason, Ben allows all of this to happen. Courtney tells Ben that she’s in love with him, and that nerdy winemaker is smitten.
Rose Recipients:
Courtney
Lindzi
Nicki
I don’t think there was ever any question that Kacie would go home. She can blame her dad for that. Poor thing.
The three remaining girls are off to Switzerland next week! Will Ben find love?
Doubtful. He’s made such poor choices so far, I don’t know why he would suddenly get smart now.

I like Lindzi and Nicki but both are too good for him. He is a dork!
